Below are some answers to frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact us.
Q: Will I be able to contact other people who are memorizing the same Scripture I am?
A: Yes. In fact, one of our main goals is for you to encourage and be encouraged by others around the world. The best way to do this is through our Forum, where you can post insights and questions. We do not give out email addresses without specific permission. However, you may request that your contact information be sent to those memorizing the same material you are, in hope that others will contact you directly.
Q: I noticed that on the automatic quizzes, the computer asks me to quote specific verses. What if I just memorize whole chapters without keeping track of when the verses start and stop?
A: Our best advise is to take the time and master the specific verses. It should come pretty easy and will be worth the time in the long run. If you would rather not, we have 3 options for you: One feature the quizzes have is "hints" where you can ask for up to the first 3 words to help you get started on the right verse. A second option is that you can type out the whole chapter and email it to us as your quiz. We will correct it and give you your score. A third option is to take the quiz by phone. That way we could cue you with the words right before the chosen verse you are being quizzed on.
Q: What if I want to memorize just one chapter, say Romans 12, and not the whole book? Can I still take the automatic quizzes?
A: Yes. The easiest way to get quizzed and receive credit for mastering a chapter in the middle of a book would be to request a custom made quiz to be sent to you by email. If you would prefer still taking the automatic quizzes, you can answer the verses only for that chapter, and leave the rest blank. When you submit the quiz, we will ignore the score that counted mistakes from other chapters, and will just score your chapter's verses.
